Adding a Text Item

To add a line of text to a report, such as a heading:

1 Click on the Add toolbar icon, or choose Add Item from the Activities menu. This will display the Object Properties window.

If the Add icon is disabled, it is probably because the report is not in Edit mode. Click the Edit icon to open the report in Edit mode.

2 On the Object Properties window, select $image\radial.gif$ Text.

3 Enter the information you want displayed in the Text Heading field.

4 Click Save.

5 Position the field on the report and click the left mouse button.

Advanced Options

Field Justification - This list can be used to specify how the field is displayed on the screen. For example, if centre was selected, the field would be centred within the left and right margins of the field area displayed on the screen.
