If you intend to pay your employees by having their wages deposited directly into their bank accounts using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) complete your company's banking details.
1 Open the Company Details window by doing one of the following:
From the Tour Guide Company section, choose Company Information.
From the File menu, choose Company Information.
From the Lists menu, choose Companies. On the Companies List, select the company you want to edit details for and then click Companies>Edit.
2 Click on the Banking Tab. If your bank details need adjusting, change them here. These details are used when you wish to use electronic funds transfer (EFT) to pay the employees. To transfer the EFT file to your bank they will have to supply you with their EFT software.
Code – Select the bank account that is used to pay your employees. Elite Payroll includes most bank codes but if your bank isn't listed, you can add it through the Bank Codes List.
Branch – Enter the name of the branch where your bank account is located.
BSB Number – Each branch of a bank has its own ID number, called the BSB (Bank State Branch) Number. Normally this number is the 6 digits before the company's account number. If you are unsure please contact your bank for the details.
Account Number – is the account number for the bank account that is used to pay your employees. This number can be up to nine characters long. If you are unsure, please contact your bank to check the account number.
APCA Number – Your company's APCA (Australian Payments Clearing Association) number is issued to your company by the bank. It is used to identify your company when you send the EFT file to your bank.
3 Click on OK, or on another tab to update other information.
