Company Details – Numbers tab

1 Open the Company Details window by doing one of the following:

$image\dash.gif$ From the Tour Guide Company section, choose Company Information.

$image\dash.gif$ From the File menu, choose Company Information.

$image\dash.gif$ From the Lists menu, choose Companies. On the Companies List, select the company you want to edit details for and then click Companies>Edit.

2 Click on the Numbers Tab. If the telephone or other number details for your company needs adjusting, change them here. This information must be entered so all printed documents have the correct information on them.

Phone and Fax Numbers can be straight numbers, or can contain brackets, dashes, or spaces.
Example: (02) 5555-555

Australian Business Number (ABN) – The ABN is the identifying number you'll use in dealing with the ATO on PAYG, GST and other elements of the tax system. You must have an ABN in order to claim GST or to add GST to an invoice.

ACN number – When the company is registered as a company it is given either an Australian Registered Business Number or an Australian Company Number. An ACN number is only provided when the company is registered as a Pty Ltd company. If the company has an Australian Registered Business Number (ARBN) enter it in the ACN field.

3 Click on OK, or on another tab to update other information.
