Elite Payroll includes a list of current WorkCover rates and classifications. It uses these to calculate the amount of WorkCover liability for each employee.
1 From the Lists Menu, choose WorkCover Rates.
2 To add a WorkCover Rate, click Work Cover>New.
To edit a WorkCover Rate, select the rage you wish to change and then click Work Cover>Edit.
3 Number – Enter the six-digit WorkCover Classification number.
4 Description – Enter a description of the WorkCover Rate. This is usually the name of the WorkCover Rate.
5 Amount – Enter the WorkCover amount. This rate needs to be entered as a percentage (cents per dollar) rate . For example, if you are entering 3% enter 3.0000.
6 Click OK.
To delete a WorkCover rate, select the rate, click WorkCover>Delete and then click OK to confirm that you want to delete the rate.
The WorkCover Rate for each employee is selected on the Employees List – Taxation Tab.
