Sorting a Report

 

To set the sort options of a report:

Click on the Sort icon, or select Set Sort Order from the Activities menu.

In the Sort By This Field list, select a field to sort the report by. The fields available are the ones that have been placed on the report.

If you want to sort by another field as well, select another field from the Then By This Field list.

Click Save.

 

Setting a sort option affects the whole report, and sets what fields Elite Payroll will sub-total on.

Example With employee number selected in the Sort By This Field list, Elite Payroll will start a new sub-total each time the employee number changes.
