What to do before you call technical support

Before calling technical support, make sure that you have the following information in front of you, this will help us to solve your problem faster:

image\bullet.gif Your registration number for Elite Payroll.

image\bullet.gif The error message and/or error number.

image\bullet.gif Where in the program the error occurred, and if possible the steps that you took to get the error message.

image\bullet.gif Be in front of your computer.

image\bullet.gif Have the system information program running. This can be run by selecting About from the Help menu and then clicking System Information.

It is also helpful if you know your system. If possible have the following information in front of you when you call:

image\bullet.gif Computer brand, hard drive size, video card and amount of memory (RAM).

image\bullet.gif Windows version.

image\bullet.gif Printer type, manufacturer and driver being used.

image\bullet.gif Network configuration, if one is being used.
