Companies List The Company Wizard takes you step-by-step through the process of entering company details, such as your company name and address, phone numbers, ACN/ABN number and banking information. If you don't have all of the information handy, don't worry—other than the company name, you can leave any fields blank and then edit them later through the Company Details menu item or the Companies List window.
Although you can only access the Company Wizard when you create a new company file, you can change any of the company details later through the Companies List – Company window.
At the bottom of the Company Wizard window there is a progress line. As each step is completed, this line will indicate much of the setup process has been completed.
1 Enter the contact details for your company:
Company name can be up to 76 characters in length.
Trading Name can be up to 76 characters in length. If you trade under a name other than the company name, enter it here.
File Name is your company name, up to 76 letters. The file name cannot be changed—it is displayed so you can record the file name and where the file is located.
2 Enter the company’s address.
3 To move forward through the wizard, click Next.
